Is there any hope for us Americans to embarrass the English?

Or should the question be, is there any way that the English can further embarrass themselves in another international match?

The match is set for May 27.

Shouldn't you really be supporting USA instead of Germany?

We support Team USA, but usually have another country we root for as well because Team USA is usually so bad and we aren't used to sucking at international sports.

USA aren't that bad at all though...they deserved to beat us in the World Cup match (we drew 1-1 with you), and plenty of other times USA have looked good in Friendlies, WC02 and Copa America matches.

Not sure what will happen with the CL players like Terry, Rio, Hargreaves, Rooney and the two Cole's.

Last year when England had their first friendly the Liverpool players weren't even included because of their CL final match.

It may only be 6 days later but they'd need a few days off after it. Whilst most of the rest of the squad will be doing light training in that time.

You know I remember an article a while ago where you played Poland in a friendly in the US and there was criticism over the number of Americans supporting Poland over the US in the stadium. This was a while ago though.

Also this is a serious question but what international Team sports does the US play well in?

And are thus proclaimed the World Champions. Of "football".

American teams don't do too badly in the Olympics in basketball to be fair. And they usually do reach the semis of Ice Hockey World Cups, though I think their teams for ice hockey are full of Kloses and Podolskis. ie. first generation immigrants.

I quite like watching the Ice Hockey at the Olympics. I keep thinking this is the closest the Americans will get to how we feel about the world cup. ( I know they got to the quarter of 2002 but how many even knew). The 2002 Olympics final between Canada and the US had a huge audience however.

We are pretty good in Hockey but we just don't have the amount talent to compete against the likes of Eastern European countries or Canada.

In basketball we have the best talent in the world but there recently hasn't been any chemistry in the team or good coaching

It won't happen.

the USA are far from the mugs at the game that some people make them out to be.

They beat Poland 3-0 in a recent friendly, which is pretty impressive.

The best thing about it is even if USA beat England (God help us if is does happen, losing to USA in "soccer" is as bad as losing to the Australians),

no one in the US will actually give a $h!t anyway

The thing is the US has a fucking great great great coach

Bob Bradley...Nobody gives two shits about him but he is one of the best in the game

They always beat Mexico...always

And its not even funny how much better Mexico is talent wise. They always go catenaccio and always beat us

I mean always
