Ok, maybe not the new Brazil because Brazil are a bit poor at the moment but do you think under Scolari we will see a much more attack minded Chelsea, that even the neutrals will enjoy watching?

Under Mourinho and then Grant, with the number of quality players Chelsea had i always thought their style of play could have been a lot better.

My view of Chelsea's style of play was:

Knock it long to Drogba

Drogba knocks it down

Lampard shoots

But is this now going to change ...

Arsene Wenger has informed the French media that Samir Nasri will not sign for Arsenal before Euro 2008 ends.

The Gunners boss, currently resting at Merano�s health centre in Italy, has declared that the Marseille playmaker could play in North London next season, but he will not sign next week.

The attacking midfielder was expected to be transferred to the Premier League giants before the start of the European competition ...

Here is a good resource for monitoring European transfers. It also tells you how much has been spent and how much has been received in transfer fees for each league. It also shows the difference between money in and money out from each league.

It also tells you whether a club has a positive or negative balance with regards to its transfer activities.

EPL 08/09:

Money In: 30,875,000

Money Out: 177,020,000

Difference: -146,145,000

La Liga:

In: 161,362,000

Very surprising news, FIFA has actually "approved" the 6+5 rule that Blatter was proposing, where every team must have a max. of 5 foreign players in the starting 11. I didn't expect them to approve this, because trying to actually get legal clearance, and then implement the rule, will be a futile process.

Its been a while since i read an article that summarised my sentiments so exactly that i've been nodding my head and even saying "YES!" outloud to myself.
